Dam of 2 foals HAHR 2A45462
Dargai was an excellent mare and said by one breeder to be the best-looking daughter of Gasdana they had seen. She was a champion in halter and western pleasure many times, plus taught many children how to ride and show. She only produced 2 foals as she had many female problems. They were both colts and became excellent endurance horses which is known in these bloodlines. Full sister to Galdar, one of the BEST half Arabian horses in the Pacific Northwest by those who knew and loved him well. My Dad, Bill Kellogg bought her in 1967 and registered her in my sister, Judy Kellogg's name hoping she would get interested in horses like me, but that failed. I, Jenny Kellogg showed, bred her and had her whole life. [email protected] 1966-1993 Note: When AHA recognized Dargai and included more information and a picture in their database they failed to record her granddam's name correctly. They were offended by the name Nigger and chose another name, Blackie. I was more offended by this and even though I can understand others might be offended, AHA needs to keep original names no matter the spelling. Owner: Judy Kellogg, Chattaroy, WA. 1967 Breeder: Chester and Lillian Thiel, Spokane, WA.
