DESERT CHIEF was registered in the Pinto Horse Society (PHS). b/b J.A. McMullen, Roseville, CA. This is the correct sire of MONTY-FRANZ double registered ApHC F241 & PHS 493. Updated research shows that the photo previously shown of DESERT CHIEF, owned by Alice Rheem, Moraga, CA is NOT this DESERT CHIEF. To date there is no photo found of this DESERT CHIEF PHS 246.
