A very handsome and attractive mare.
Registered progeny: 4 colts, 3 cgestnut, 1 black.
Color: cham #0006681 NQHBA #667 champagne, reg. as 'dun' Breeder: Tom L. Burnett Est, Ft Worth, TX; Burnett Ranch, Highland Park, TX Owner: Austin Moore, Webb City, OK Last recorded owner: Bud Warren, Perry, OK In her studbook entry in NQHBA, her dam is given as Burnett Mare. In AQHA her dam is given as Morgan Mare. This mare is source of champagne gene in at least 1 confirmed champagne line. The Morgan mare was probably DEURA AMHA#4361 She was owned by Burnett Ranches, at the time Yellow Lou was foaled, and produce records from both AMHA and AQHA show that DEURA was the most likely this the Burnett mare. However she is called chestnut with silver mane and tail, could have been a Silver Bay or she would have to be Champagne.
