AHR*3967; Foaled 1925 Al Khamsa: Ancestral Elements 100% Davenport Sired no registered purebred Arabian foals He sired part-Arabians, including PLOVER, APHC Deyrak Is the foal in the famous photograph , The Three Graces, along with his bay dam ARAK and the bay mare FASAL (Kellogg Arabian) aka LATIF.. Shortly after the photo was taken, a mare kicked Deyrak and broke his left forearm on January 17, 1926. More than a year later, on February 2. 1927, Mr. Kellogg gave the badly disfigured colt, then 15 months old to Dick Hunt, a man that had worked at the Ranch and shown great attachment to Deyrak. Deyrak was shipped to Mr. Hunt's home in Sulphur. Oklahoma. Deyrak was not registered until 1947 when he was 22 years old. Mr. Hunt kept him all of his life and he sired a number of part-bred foals which were not registered in IAHA. He died in 1954, at the age of 29 after a life as a family pet and well-loved riding horse. Breeder: WK Kellogg, Kellogg Arabian Ranch, Pomona, California.
