Bred by John H. Shults, Port Chester, N.Y. Was exported as a foal to Germany with his mother NEHUSHTA, Stud Gestüt KLEIN-HELLE, near Moelln, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern of CARL Johann Theodor Otto Schwanitz, rubber goods manufacturer in Berlin. (died 1903). His adopted son Carl Otto Konrad Schwanitz, nee ASMUS (*1874 Berlin-1920 Berlin) continued the stud, later his widow Anna Margarete, nee LIEFELDT (*1884 Berlin- died 1946 Berlin), later married CURT Wilhelm Oscar von LINSINGEN (Rittmeister ausser Dienst, Berlin-Schöneberg, *1882 Berlin- died Nov. 1936 by suicide?), divorced October 1936. He was head of the Stud but owner was his wife. One of the most famous trotting Studs in Germany, was founded ~ 1885. Wallace's ATR, 1898, vol.14, p. 186.
