recorded as Diana in March 24, 1798 Augusta [Georgia, USA] Chronicle, in her capacity as dam of Fitzhugh's True Whig and Spotswood's Apollo. Imported in 1763 by Bernard Moore (1720-1772), breeder of Apollo and uncle of Gen. Alexander Spotswood (1746-1818) who most likely acquired Apollo after his uncle's death.
