Codey made his debut as a
two-year-old in the spring of 1965 at
Oak Ridge, North Carolina. To fully
appreciate the record of 1965-1966,
one has to consider the fact that
there were no Appaloosa shows in
North Carolina at that time. So Appaloosa owners were forced to
show their horses with horses of
other breeds, and usually with
judges that were more familiar with
the other breeds.
CODEY’S DREAM by Dominion
Codey out of Danley’s Elaine completed the 1967 show season undefeated.
