Aka OLD EATON. Bred by Thomas Pelton, of Anson, near Madison Bridge, Maine; Dapple sorrel, mane & tail same color & heavy, stripe, 16.2, 1450 lbs, Immense size and substance. Passed though other hands, and was sold to Eliab L. Eaton, then of Farmington, and became known as the Eaton horse; He sold him i 1854 to William Beal, Whinthrop, Maine, and he in April 1857, to Nashville, TN.
Taken 1858 to Hopkinsville, KY.
