AHR 1170
53.125% Crabbet The very first purebred Arabian foal bred by Henry B Babson, Chicago, Illinois, and arguably his best individual and best sire ever. Sire of 55 registered foals, 35 fillies and 19 colts, 3 of which were gelded Foundation stallion for HB Babson’s breeding program. One of the greatest stallions of all time. Fay-el-Dine is also remarkable in that he is the sire of 10 producers of National winners from only 55 registered Foals. Fay-el-Dine remains my idol as relates to elegance and huge black eyes. (Ref my book, The Royal Arabians of Egypt and the Stud of Henry B Babson for photos and history. It is now out of print.)
