First Impulse won the Midwest, Iowa and Minnesota POA Futurities as a weanling. In 2000 Impulse was High Point JPFC at the Midwest Regional POA Show and at the International POA Show. As a two year old, Impulse also won the prestigious McClaren Futurity class at the International Show, the JPFC Western Pleasure and English Pleasure at the Midwest POA Club Futurity Show in Wisconsin and was High Point JPFC at the National Futurity in Des Moines, Iowa. He has sired many International, Regional, Classic, State and International Futurity Champions
