A grade mare of "English hunter" type (Thoroughbred cross?) noted for speed and endurance. Bought from a Spanish officer by the butcher Flæbe, then sold to Judge Lunn, who bred from her at his Knabstrup estate. Bred with a palomino Frederiksborg stallion in 1808, she founded a line of spotted horses, now called Knabstrup(er). Her grandson, Mikkel, is recognized as a foundation sire. Her color was described as: "dark red with a white mane and tail covered with white snowflakes on her body." Possible descendant of the spotted English hunter stallion Scipio (1750s), owned by Colonel Roche (UK).
