At stud 1873-87, in Rastenburg 1888-91 (other versions of his use are wrong) and sold offhand to count Dohna, Cöllmen, aged 22.
Strong, noble stallion with a small head, long ears. Neck not favorable in shape, but long enough. Beautiful withers, shoulder, ribs, loin and croup. Tail set nice and worn finely. His foundation is very solid, big-boned, strong in all parts, especially joints and limbs. Pants part is not filled enough. Gaits eminent, both in short and preferably in fast passages.
Flügel's excellent foundation was inherited. He delivered impressive riding horses with nice head, correct body, good proportions, proper depth; strong, dry foundation and elegant, swinging movement.
