10-5-1-0, $4,725. Flyatit (the dam of Top Flight) is incorrectly listed in William H. P. Robertson's "The History of Thoroughbred Racing in America" as being sired by *Chicle. She was a bad post horse and may have cost herself any chance at earning black type by her behavior. She was retired after her two-year-old season and produced seven foals, including champion Top Flight and stakes-placed Gotoit and Wingspread. The privately-published "The Thoroughbred Stud of H.P. Whitney, Esq." (1928) calls her "...a very fast, but flighty filly."
