Foxy Pleasure produced fine 'pasture covering' horses that had more speed than the normal cow horse! We bred him to our quarter horse broodmares and sure did make some fine cow horses. I (Lynete Mills) broke this stallion myself when he was 2 yrs old. He had that classic 'rocking horse' lope and was a joy to ride. He was slow to mature, but was a good pasture breeding stallion. He produced many colt crops for our family ranch until the day he died here on the ranch. His son, Ten Sleep Foxy Bar was the only registered stallion that was produced that last season, so we kept him and used him for 17 years on our ranch. Foxy Pleasure was bred and raised to a weanling age by James C. Adams of Moorecroft, WY. My father, Boyd Mills, bought Foxy fall of 1981.
