Breeder: HG Trakehnen, Ebenrode. At stud in: Trakehnen 1860 and 1862-69, Gudwallen 1870-77 and sold to count Lehndorff, Steinort.
Fritter represents the type of strong carriage horses. In 1859 he was given to Gudwallen in exchange for Venerato because his use in Gurdszen was limited (he had too close blood relation with most mares). After 28th May 1866 equerry of Prussia, Frhr. von Maltzahn, permited to use him at stud again (before that since September 1848, inbreed was considered as a fault. New rules said that after three generations relations can be mated).
