Gann’s Three Chick was foaled on April 1st, 1972 and was bred by the Travis Ranch in Oklahoma. Gann’s Three Chick was by Three Chicks, a son of the Thoroughbred stallion Three Bars and was out of Lady Gann, a race-winning daughter of Leo Gann. Gann’s Three Chick was a full-brother to AQHA Champion Chicks Leo Gann and AAA racehorse Chicks Gann.

Gann’s Three Chick made nine starts and won one race. He earned a Racing Register of Merit and was rated AA. After he retired from racing, Gann’s Three Chick earned 51.0 halter points and 15.0 performance points. He earned a Performance ROM, a Superior Halter Award and an AQHA Champion title. Gann’s Three Chick stood at the Hays Ranch in Synder, Texas where he sired 210 AQHA registered foals. Hesa Sharp Chick, Ima Fantasy Chick and Justia Chick were some of his top performers.
