Oh, those beautiful big dark eyes. Eyes to die for. Halim Al Kadir was famous for the calm expression of his eyes. To look into his eyes was like looking into his soul. Soft and kind, Halim Al Kadir's eyes were unique and became somewhat like his trademark. I will always remember the day I saw those eyes for the very first time. In 1985 Siegfried Kübe was able to lease Halim Al Kadir from his owner, William Yee and imported him to Germany (later Siegfried Kübe bought him). The American handler Richard Sanders showed him at the Asil Cup that same year and Halim Al Kadir won the chamionship of his class with ease.
