One of the most noted American trotting sires. Sire of Clay-Arabians (Americo-Arabians), his bones are in the Smithsonian. Often called a Standardbred, he was not registered as such, since the breed name did not come into use until 1879. Sire of Black Douglas, 2:30; Jericho, 2:30; 5 registered Morgan progeny.
