Dahlia has been an effective foundation mare, but when I tested her in 2022 and discovered she was a LFS carrier, I notified the person who still had a breeding age daughter, Asil Dark Destiny, whom I suspect is a carrier, when I was informed she had had a foal, a Turbo Friesian, that had seizures and was PTS.
Juvenile seizures has been linked to LFS. Sadly, many horses owned by prominent breeders are still being bred, as carriers, since people haven't done their research.
Please, if you have any horses linked to this bloodline? Test. Before you breed.
