1975 AQHA World Champion Yearling Stallion
Impressor was foaled March 1st, 1974. He was bred by Donald W. Bergman in Missouri and was by Impressive, the infamous son of the Thoroughbred stallion Lucky Bar. He was out of Miss Windy Spur, a race-placed daughter of Stormy C Moore. Impressor did not carry the mutated gene that causes Hyperkalemic Periodic Paralysis (HYPP), which means he did not develop or pass on the neuromuscular disease.

Impressor was shown by Bill French. He was the 1975 AQHA World Champion Yearling Stallion. Impressor was later purchased by Willard Nordick of Limon, Colorado for $125,000. Nordick sold Impressor at the 1988 Denver National Western Select Sale. Throughout his career at stud with multiple owners, Impressor sired 731 AQHA registered foals. They included AQHA Superior Performance Horses, AQHA Champions and Performance ROM-earners. Impressionist, an APHA stallion, was one of his best sons at stud.
