DYRA was bred by von Nitzschwitz at Königsfeld Stud, because both, sire SAID and dam HEDBA, were sold at the auction at Weil (Stuttgart) on 27th April 1870. Both horses were 4-year-old and not intended to be used for breeding at Weil, therefore Hedba was not covered at the time of the sale. She must have been covered by SAID after the sale, hence von Nitzschwitz is the breeder. (Archive of the House of Württemberg, Altshausen)
