aka Inchagoill Laddie

Innishgoill Laddie (21) by Rebel out of Dooyher Lass (188), born 1934 was bred by Tom Greene, Dooyher East, Carna. As a foal Tom sold him to the CPBS for four pounds and five shillings. He took his name from Innishgoill, (the foreigners' island) in Lough Corrib where he was reared. Geologically the island belonged to East Galway and consisted of 300 hundred acres of limestone land - giving him a good start in life. He is important as the sire of Gil (43) out of the keystone Golden Gleam. Gil sired a dozen of his own incl. Cilciaran, Tiger Gil and above all Carna Bobby.
Laddie, a vital link in the Blue Line left 58 progeny in the book.
