F.May, Considered a good late example of the Golddust strain. Sired 39 registered Morgans & many part-Morgans. He was purchased by Verne Caldwell on behalf of Charles Ayer, a Wall Street lawyer who lived to be 98. Jack Sprat stood for years at Ayers' Scenery Gulch Ranch west of Meeker, CO, which Caldwell managed. Caldwell's children often rode Jack Sprat bareback---sometimes three at a time. In later years a large group of his daughters and granddaughters were sold to E.W.Roberts in So. CA. A number of those went on to Windcrest Farm in Vermont. There, some became well known. For example, Liz Taylor a daughter of Lizzieayr by Jack Sprat, produced show champions. Breeder: HT Hineman, Dighton, KS
