Wallace's ASB 1867, Vol.1, p.566/567 says: The pedigree of this distinguished animal CANNOT BE TRACED definitely by the books, but of her history and the performances of her immediate descendants there can be no doubt. Her dam: Mr. Witty's famous mare, CABBAGE-WISE; Bruce's ASB, 1873, Vol.2, (A-L), p.96 - no year of birth, no color, says: o.o. MISS BELVOIR/by Grey Grantham, but this mare had no foal by QUIET CUDDY, foals all by CHILDERS, last by WALPOLE BARB/ ~1728- ~1737); JENNY CAMERONs Offspring: 10/all without year of birth, only 1 with color; Imported by John Tayloe in 1751, with daughter Betty Blazella in utero. Jenny Camerons pedigree was corrected by Fairfax Harrison in his book Early Turf Stock??? (Originally listed as being out of Miss Belvoir.) Jenny Cameron belongs to Family Number 40, which was a most distinguished family in America.
