AHR 1261
Foaled April 18, 1936. She was put down at the age of 33, on her home near Jacksonville Fla, with her loving owner, Rowland Roberts holding her lead. He cried. She had produced him many fine foals, one of which, Keylad, made him the envy of all horsemen at horse shows and gymkhana's for many years. When his competitors saw him and Keylad, a stout gray stallion there, they would load up and go home. So as a joke, he hauled the old broodmare Kalidasa instead, and they all guffawed. But he won with her too!!! Dam of thirteen registered Arabian foals, seven fillies and six colts, two which were gelded. Breeder: Albert W. Harris, Chicago, Illinois, Kemah Arabian Stud, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
