AMHA #11452
Chestnut, connected star, strip & snip, rh coronet & lh stocking white.
Foaled 4/14/1954, Woods Cross, UT. Bred by Hal P. Schulties.
Registered Morgan progeny: 11 colts, 9 fillies.
When Ken's Car-A-Mel's was foaled, his sire was 22 years old, & his dam was 19. In their March, 1963 ad in THE MORGAN HORSE, his owners, Jim and Joan Seequist, of Woods Cross, Utah, claimed he'd never finished lower than first in halter or second in performance. There was good Morgan competition in Utah then. He was impressive. He was ridden and driven. Among others, he was the sire of Carmallow (out of the prolific Mallow) and Rockwell's Valley Tan, a fairly successful show Morgan.
