born from parents that were bought by Baron von Nitzschwitz, Königsfeld, Saxonia, from the Royal Stud of Weil, Württemberg in 1867 and 1868 respectively.
a) first scenario: It is stated in the sales catalogue of Röblingen, pedigree of Nigra-Zscheiplitz, that Kewa, born 1873, was bred by the Royal Stud of Weil, but this seems to be an error, because both her parents were with Baron von Nitzschwitz already for many years at the time of her birth.
b) second scenario: It is possible that Mahaba (sold 1867) was covered by Bournu (sold 1868) before being sold and Kewa was imported in utero. Then the statement 'bred by Weil' would be correct, but the year of birth should then be 1868.
