New to the Hilltop Farm Guest Stallion Program in 2010 is the international showjumper VDL Laroche. Owned by the prestigious VDL Stud early in his career Laroche finished 4th in the jumping portion of his Stallion Test. The training reprot included, Laroche has more than enough talent for jumping and gives his rider a good feeling. Laroche next won the KWPN Stallion Jumping Competition at Den Bosch, Holland. With Angelique Hoorn, Laroche had a successful international Grand Prix career in Europe before being purchased for Frankie Chesler in Canada. Laroche has already proven that his talent and heart transmit to the next generation. Six Ster mares, two Keur mares, and one liscensed stallion arer just the beginning successes of these early foal crops. The Swedish mare Pjalgary VDL, Rudi, and VDL Groep Saffier all appear on the 2008 FEI WBFSH Ranking List for Jumping Horses. Mr. President and Bugatti represent Laroche in the US as winning jumpers on the A Circuit. Even with a limited number of offspring, Laroche has already earned a jumping index of 153, ranking him 11th of all KWPN stallions with offspring aged 10 or older. rs.
