bred by George Scattergood, Philadelphia, Pa.; was bought in 1894 by Siegmund Spitz & Co., Wien/Vienna, Nieder-Oesterreich and came in 1896 pregnant from France to Austro-Hungarian Monarchy (Austrian Empire); Owned by Graf Karl Trauttmansdorff, stud/Gestüt Koritschan, Bezirk/district Gays, Mähren/Moravia (now CZ) till 1899; then passed to Ludwig Wittgenstein, same place, till 1900, then to Graf Louis Trauttmansdorff, Friedau, Bezirk/ditrict St. Pölten; The was sold to Graf Andrzej Kazimierz Potocki (1861 Krzeszowice - 1908 Lemberg/Lwow, by assassination), stud/Gestsüt WOLA, Bezirk/district Chrzanow, Galizien (now Krzeszowice, Chrzanow, Poland) till 1908, then owned by his heirs till 1912. The was sold to Bavaria/Bayern, Germany; Oesterreichisch ungarisches Traber-Zuchtbuch, 1919, Vol.4, p.663; Offspring all born in WOLA: 11 in (1 died); 2 in Germany/ owner J.
