Sired by Wrangler Zorro from the great seed stock of Scenic, South Dakota Appaloosa breeder Twila Merrill and purchased from V.C. Willaford of Ft. Pierre South Dakota at the time and later of Castlegar, British Columbia Canada. o/b V. H. Hall, down on Joe Creek, south of Harrold, SD. Sire of Lonsum Midge and Miss Lonsum, two top notch broodmares and producers. In 1969 as a 5yo Lonsum was hauled to the Casey Tibbs Fair grounds race track in Fort Pierre SD and ran in 2 Jackpot races at 220 yards and 660 yards winning both of them. This speed he came by naturally as he was also a grandson of ROM Race Lonsum Polecat by Leo.
