Ridden by Wayne Channon who comments in in Horse and Hound (4th May 2006) \Debra bought Lorenzo when he was six months old. Everyone told us not to because he has the stallion 'Farn' twice in his bloodlines and they said he was going to be too hot. He's been difficult to train, but worth the effort, as he was my first team horse and is a world class mover. He thinks he's in charge of the entire world. His attitude to learning has always been \no\, then once he's got the idea and thinks it's his, he'll do anything. He adores sugar, if you sing to him he relaxes and you can go into the stable and lie down next to him, but you don't want to be holding him when he sees a mare - he'd go right through you. We had a girl from the Czech Republic working for us at a competition in Luxembourg. Marta was leading Lorenzo around in a bridle and lunge rope, he saw a mare, reared up and got his leg over the rope. Marta held on, but he cantered off and she got dragged along. Her leg popped out of it's joint, Lorenzo broke the rope and Marta had to be airlifted to hospital with ripped cruciate ligaments and a broken bone in the knee.\
