b/b L Edmunds, England, to Holland 1932, a Kuhaylah Ajuz Maid of the Moot placed third in the first "Arab pony race." Pony races were held at Northolt track in England from 1923 to 1940 for horses under 15 hands, and starting in 1929 some of the races were evidently limited to Arabians. Maid of the Moot and the winner, Sanfoin, are featured in a detailed Getty image (copyrighted, expensive) titled Arab Pony Racing Northolt. The caption reads: "The Arab pony Sainfoin about to win the first ever Arab pony race being chased by the Maid of the Moot who eventually finished third, the race being held at Northolt park north west London, England 25th September 1929."
