Imported in about 1805 to New South Wales, Australia by Mr. Brown of Abbotsbury, more than likely via the Cape of Good Hope on one of the supply ships to the new colony. He was a horse of high caste and fine symmetry, and left a lasting mark on the bloodstock of New South Wales.

Among his progeny were Vesta, the ancestress of the Melbourne Cup winner Acrasia; and Yellow Jenny, the ancestress of Caulfield Cup winner Grace Darling and Melbourne Cup winner Baghdad Note.
