Used by the University of Alberta (UA). "Monpar" refers to Monpar Percherons, a prominent Canadian draft horse breeding farm based in Saint-Esprit, Quebec. Founded by the Majeau family, the farm is celebrated for breeding top-tier World Champion Percherons, including prominent sires like Monpar U.A. Jasper and Monpar U.A. Supreme. All lines trace back to historic French foundation stallion Jean le Blanc (foaled 1823).
