Foaled 1858, Lexington, KY.
A large, stylish, handsome horse with a trappy, speedy trot. Fine saddle/harness horse. Produced excellent stock, especially for road use. Octoroon was won in a poker game from a James Madison, around Lexington, KY. He was raced/bred until he was shot while running in his pasture.
