Top-bred imported Icelandic stallion at stud for purebred Icelandic mares only. Very people oriented sweet amenable character (not in your pocket), very elegant with 5 well separated gaits, good strong conformation and beautiful color. Óðinn is the only blue dun tobiano stallion in the US and cannot produce simple chestnut foals. All chestnut offspring will be tobiano. He is Worldfengur and USIHC registered.
Óðinn comes from royal bloodlines, with many Honor Prize and first Prize ancestors, amongst them onetime highest evaluated stallion Spuni frá Vesturkoti and Landsmót winner Lukka frá Stóra Vatnsskarði.
Ódinn will be started under saddle next winter and then hopefully evaluated under a rider. Óðinn was evaluated (YHE) last September
Óðinn is available for pasture breeding only in southern Colorado. Mares must be healthy and without shoes.
