Foaled at Lockwood, MO Bald face & 4 white stockings (Splash White) Died in 1915 listed in AQHA computer as Old Fred 1 now 1998 PHBA Hall of Fame Coke T. Roberds bought this yellow horse in 1908 from when he saw him dragging a freight wagon to haul supplies for Pueblo, CO. A heavily built horse with classic draft markings and conformation. Old Fred is responsible for a lot of noted Quarter Horses such as Skipper W, the majority of the Peavy herd and a lot of Coke Roberds' program. In Appaloosas he's behind Bright Eyes Brother, Bobbie N, Ding Bob, Bob H and other noted horses. When you look at the achievements of his descendants, there are more Old Fred horses in the ApHC Hall of Fame than any other bloodline.
