Know as "Spot" at the Davis Ranch (formerly known a the Sandy Bob Ranch, Wm. J. Davis purchased the Sandy Bob in 1906. From the Appaloosa News)
Spot was one of the few colts not gelded from Pancho and a morgan mare. Born a bay and Varnished out by age 3. It was said in Appaloosa News that Spot, like his sire, produced the conformation, disposition and speed needed on the Davis Ranch. Used as a Working Ranch Horse, Rode in Parades and as a contest horse in area rodeos.
Used as a Sire and ranch horse from 1939-1952.
