Suspect Percheron online studbook has birth date incorrect. Peerlene's dam is listed as born 1938 (and appears as a dam of a horse competing in 1947); Peerlene's foals are 1945-1955, which a birth date of 1924 would make her 21-31 when giving birth - possible, certainly, but unlikely.
