POLECATS CONFETTI . C, PONY OF AMERICAS, 1979
| bred a grade shetland in the fall of 1980 at Emery Mowers farm, as he had been turned out with the mares since he was only a yearling (moral of this lesson, don\'t turn a yearing out with mares)this pony had been bought for a friend of Emery\'s, who later decided he didn\'t want the pony, and so was sold the following spring(1981) at Sugar creek auction in Ohio. Butterscotch was born the fall of 1981, after Polecats Confetti was sold. Emery had told me this discription of Butterscotch Rums father as follows: was born in 1979, bay leopard, no white on face or legs, was out of Harper Krupps ponies. I have checked stud books with the POAC and Polecats Confetti was what I came up with. He was not registered until 1980. I was told by Emery that his papers were lost between Emery buying him and selling him, so there is no way to trace this information futher, as Emery died May 3, 1994.
