Riada by Mesaoud and Rose of Hind by Rejeb
Lady Anne Lytton wrote of her, "Riada gave me the first perfect ride I ever had, and she was sweet and gentle. I loved her dappled brown colour and the black pencilling of her nostrils below the tan. My grandmother taught me to drive her, and that was a great joy to me.... The awful tragedy of her death is something I do not like to think of even now. I watched her die of twisted gut in agony — that sweet and gentle mare."
Lady Wentworth wrote, "Died Mar 18 1919 of twisted gut after foaling — she suffered untold agony & tried to dash her head against the walls."
