Rosemary was sold at the 4th Crabbet sale in 1888 and repurchased from her buyer in the spring of 1890. She belonged in Lady Anne's half after the Crabbet Stud partition of 1906. Rosemary was given away in 1910 and stolen by a man representing himself as a groom. She was never traced.
