This filly is NOT registered with the AQHA. She was conceived by pasture breeding. The sire and dam were both owned at the time by the same person. As of May 2018, the sire has DNA on file with the AQHA and could be genetic tested using that sample. The cost would be $100. But the larger challenge is that the dam has never been DNA tested and the papers were not transferred into the current owner's name. So to register this filly would require tracking down the old owner who the AQHA indicates was in Hawaii and is not a current member, getting a transfer signed, having the mare DNA tested, and then having the stallion owner file a stallion breeder's report (SBR). The late fee for the SBR is $100. The stallion appears to be homozygous black and homozygous roan.
