At the time APSHA was formed in 1962 Hank Wiescamp was in his prime as one of the nations leading QH breeders. At the head of his Paint horse family was Skip Hi. Skip Hi was an APHA Champion sire, a National Champion sire and a Producer of Superior Champions and Champion daughters. A leading sire throughout the 60's and 70's.
