The stallion was the first horse ever to win the first two jewels in the Appaloosa Triple Crown: the Kansas Sunflower Classic Futurity at Santa Fe, New Mexico, and the Texas Appaloosa Futurity at Sunland Park, New Mexico, in 1977. He placed third in the final race, the World-Wide Futurity at Albuquerque, New Mexico. Also as a two-year-old, he was the leading money-winner, earning $44,167.88, a bronze medallion and the 1977 champion two-year-old race colt title.
