An ad on page 25 of the November 1945 issue of The Morgan Horse magazine (which can be seen online) announced that Sunshine R was standing at stud for Sid Haynes of Tacoma, WA. It declared he had beauty, intelligence, action, strength, and a wonderful disposition. It also mentioned his true Morgan type. His son Stormy H was well regarded by some and bred on as did some of his other progeny.
