A successful S-level (Inter I) dressage stallion, Tarim won multiple ATA HOY Awards and the Trakehner Verband Award for the most successful purebred Trakehner in Dressage. Tarim was also the 1985 AHSA National Dressage HOY Intermediare I Champion and PSG Champion. One of Tarim's more notable daughters, 1988 Trakehner National Champion mare, Gute Sitte (out of a Mahagoni dam) produced Gute Gesellschaft (by E.H. Consul), the dam of S-level dressage horse Don Jueves.
