The Boss aka The Business PSSM1 n/P1 Imported to the USA ~2007. https://legacy.vannercentral.com/The%20Boss.htm “The Boss's mum was a small 12.2 cross cob/pony with thick body and some feather. She was a silver d'apple. That is were the silver gen started in the gypsy horse. She must has been a half of French mountain pony that somehow got in to England and brought the silver d'apple with her. She was owned by Jimmy, a great friend and uncle of mine. Jimmy breed her to a big 15hh black and white stallion which my uncle Albert Coates just imported from Ireland. This would have been in the very earlie 90's. He was breed from the Old Coal Horse of Ireland. He had masses of feather and heavy body, proper traditional cob. My uncle Jimmy sold her, heavy in foal to Reg Jordan at Soufflé Horse market in London. The following spring The Boss was born. He was born with his mums colour and had the body and hair of his father; 14.2hh and a body of a tank. You would of never have thought he's mother was a half breed pony. Reg Jordan sold The Boss at 6 months old to Noah Hilden. Noah had him for a few months over the winter and then he sold him back to Reg Jordan. Reg Jordan took The Boss to Appleby horse fair as a 2 year old. He looked amazing! Reg refused 10,000 pounds bid for him. The Boss was the most money bid for a horse that year on Appleby fair, what a ledgend... The Boss's off spring are spread across the Globe. Michael Vine” Breeder: Coates family Markings: White blaze and three white socks, one flaxen sock
