Bred by Babson, USA. Imp. UK in 1969. First Babson Arabian to be exported (in 1968). Supreme Male Champion 1978 & 1978 Champion at Salon Du Cheval in Paris (World Champion stallion!!!). Died 1979.
He was bred by the Hedleys close friends the Streams in California and was the first Straight Babson to come to the UK - and he travelled by sea. His son IBN EL NAFIS was one of my favourites. At his only show in the UK he was BNCh. He then went to Paris but sadly on his return he was lost to colic. He was very different looking to the UK Arabians at the time as well as being an unusal brown colour (when many in UK were bright chestnut with lots of white). Notably sire also of Shahpoor.
