Fially it became The Talk of the Town. Breeder: R. M. Nock, Salidbury, MD. C. G. Smith of Blytheville, AR owned him for a while. Steve Hill bought 1/2 interest in the colt after he was sold at the C. G. Smith sale for $200. As a 4-yr-o, he was still undefeated. In 1951 he was owned by L.A. Chemell & E.P. Riley, Gainesville, GA. Jim Crain of Wilson, Ark bought him. He was a handful, even tho he was gelded. Steve had to constantly work with this horse several times a day. Foaled May 7,1947. He did sire 1 foal. In 1976 was shown in exhibition much to the delight of the crowd at the horse show. He was a little on the skinny side, still was a delight to watch.
